This project is aimed at repackaging many popular open-source programs for the U3 platform. It also provides the ability to create a shortcut on your U3 Launchpad to any portable application already installed via the PortableAppsLauncher Wizard. All of our apps are free and open source, so you are free to use, redistribute, and even modify them however you wish.
The Uop3n Smart Apps Project consists of myself (aka qwertymodo), a sophomore Computer Science major at Boise State University. I refer to the project as “we” because most of the work is actually done by the great folks over at PortableApps.com. Most of my launchers are modified versions of the ones from their apps, so really it isn’t just me doing this.
